Explanation Texts

The children have been working on explanation texts. If you would like to support them with their homework this BBC clip might help.

The children in Year 4 created a Harvest Poem and art work linked to it. This was shown at the Harvest Assembly.

To finish our work on Northern India the children had a chance to taste some of the foods from this area. A few children were initially reluctant but all eventually tasted some. Mrs Singh very kindly came in to make Indian sweets with the children.

European Languages Day saw all the children taking part in a wide range of activities whilst communicating in either Spanish, German or French. In Mr Chiverton's class the children were expected to talk in French whilst recreating a famous French structure out of K'nex.

Severn Valley Park Trip

On Wednesday 2nd of October we went to Severn Valley Country Park as part of our environment work. We had great fun searching for mini beasts and pond dipping with ranger James.
